The Camp Director Role

Camp Crafty Camp Directors foster  “connection through creating” by leading craft instruction in our party environments. A Camp Director’s passion, professionalism and encouraging demeanor takes a craft class into a memorable party.

Responsibilities: 

Camp Directors inspire party guests to engage with Camp Crafty experiences through their welcoming demeanor. Camp Directors are trained in Camp Crafty crafts, knowing how to not only lead a craft to completion but provide encouragement and direction to guests for an amazing time for everyone! 

Candidate Requirements 

• On-time to all live events

• Executes with a high attention to detail and quality

• Keeps all internal deadlines

• Team focused nature with a high degree of self-responsibility 

• Ability to work independently and handle projects independently 

• Advances new information or questions to the executive team in a timely manner

Dallas, Texas

Terms: 

Contract

Salary: 

$20/hour

Requirements: 

Ability to lift over 50 pounds, evening and weekend work, travel within a 50 mile radius.

Camp Crafty is all about creating what inspires you! From our featured parties for children, tweens and adults to working with you on custom projects, we’ll get to know your event headcount, age, experience and interests. 

Campers, Assemble!

It’s craft time! Your Camp Crafty Camp Directors will arrive 30 minutes before your party start date so guests are wowed and inspired the moment they walk in to your special event.

Pass Inspection

Being prepared makes for a great camp. Your Camp Directors will have everything needed for each guest to have their own creative and prepped work space where creativity can thrive. Camp Directors are uniformed and background checked but, mostly importantly, very into making things look awesome and getting pumped about ideas. 

Lead Your Pack

You know who deserves a compliment? You and all your friends! Camp Directors know how to lead your group with inspiring guidance that enlivens your creativity. You’ll love trying the same craft as your friend and celebrating your differences and beauty in your choices. 

Leave No Trace

After an engaging craft experience led by Camp Directors, Camp Crafty will be professionally packed and out the door 

Cancellation Policy

Party deposits are non-refundable. The week before your party date, we’ll email you to finalize your headcount based on RSVPs. Your final invoice will be updated one time based on this number, after which we are not able to offer additional changes or refunds. All Camp Crafty parties are booked for a minimum of 10 guests regardless of final attendance at your event.
